Acceptable Use Policy

1. PURPOSE
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of webSlinger automation services. By using webSlinger, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
2. PROHIBITED CONTENT
webSlinger may NOT be used to access, record, or automate interactions with:
- Adult or pornographic websites
- Gambling or betting platforms
- Illegal marketplaces or content
- Sites hosting pirated or unauthorized content
webSlinger implements technical measures to block recording sessions on known prohibited sites. Attempts to circumvent these restrictions violate this policy.
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
3.1 Attacks and Malicious Use
You may NOT use webSlinger for:
- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks - Coordinated flooding or overwhelming of websites, servers, or networks
- Network attacks - Any attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to systems
- Credential stuffing - Automated testing of username/password combinations against authentication systems
- Brute force attacks - Systematic attempts to guess passwords, API keys, or access credentials
- Unauthorized access attempts - Probing or testing security measures without explicit authorization
3.2 Abuse and Fraud
- Spam generation or distribution - Creating or sending unsolicited communications at scale
- Fake account creation - Mass registration of fraudulent accounts on any platform
- Click fraud or ad fraud - Automated manipulation of advertising systems or metrics
- Rating or review manipulation - Artificially inflating or deflating ratings, reviews, or engagement metrics
- Harassment or stalking - Automated monitoring, tracking, or abuse of individuals
- Impersonation - Automated actions while impersonating another person or entity
3.3 Security Circumvention
- Bypassing access controls - Circumventing paywalls, authentication, or authorization systems without permission
- Rate limit evasion - Deliberately circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions
- CAPTCHA solving at scale - Using webSlinger to systematically bypass anti-automation measures
- Session hijacking or token theft - Capturing or reusing authentication credentials without authorization
3.4 Illegal Activities
- Any activity that violates local, state, federal, or international law
- Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
- Financial fraud, money laundering, or unauthorized transactions
- Identity theft or unauthorized use of personal information
- Market manipulation or insider trading automation
4. ACCEPTABLE USES
webSlinger is designed for legitimate workflow automation:
- Personal productivity - Automating your own repetitive tasks and workflows
- Data management - Extracting and organizing information from sites you access legitimately
- Business process automation - Streamlining authorized business workflows and operations
- Testing and monitoring - Testing websites you own or have explicit permission to test
- Research and development - Academic or commercial research within legal and ethical boundaries
- Accessibility - Automating tasks to improve accessibility for users with disabilities
5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Compliance
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring your use of webSlinger complies with all applicable laws
- Obtaining necessary permissions before automating interactions with third-party websites
- Understanding and respecting the capabilities and limitations of automation technology
- Using webSlinger in a manner that does not harm others or their systems
5.2 Third-Party Sites
When using webSlinger to automate interactions with third-party websites:
- You are responsible for reviewing and complying with those sites' terms of service
- webSlinger is not responsible for your violations of third-party terms
- Some websites prohibit automation - it is your responsibility to verify permissions
- You assume all risk of account suspension or termination by third-party services
5.3 Authorization
You must ensure you have proper authorization before automating:
- Business systems or websites owned by your employer (obtain IT approval)
- Client systems or platforms (obtain written consent)
- Shared accounts or family member accounts (obtain explicit permission)
- Any system where you are not the sole authorized user
6. ENFORCEMENT
6.1 Violation Response
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in:
- Warning - First-time minor violations may receive a written warning
- Temporary suspension - Account access restricted pending investigation
- Permanent termination - Account permanently closed without refund
- Legal action - Severe violations may be referred to law enforcement
- Liability for damages - You may be held financially responsible for damages caused by policy violations
6.2 Detection and Monitoring
webSlinger implements automated systems to detect abuse:
- Domain blocklists for prohibited content categories
- Rate limiting and usage pattern analysis
- Anomaly detection for suspicious automation patterns
- Manual review of high-usage accounts or reported violations
6.3 No Refunds for Violations
Accounts terminated for AUP violations are not eligible for refunds of subscription fees or unused credits. Paid services are forfeited upon termination.
7. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you become aware of AUP violations by other users:

- Subject: "AUP Violation Report"
- Include: Description of violation, evidence (URLs, screenshots), date/time observed
We investigate all reports and take appropriate action. Reporter identity is kept confidential.
8. SECURITY VULNERABILITIES
If you discover security vulnerabilities in webSlinger:
Responsible Disclosure:
- Email: security@webslinger.ai
- Do NOT publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we have addressed them
- Do NOT exploit vulnerabilities for malicious purposes
- We will respond within 48 hours and work with you to resolve issues
Security researchers who follow responsible disclosure practices will not be subject to AUP enforcement for good-faith security testing.
9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy to address new abuse patterns or legal requirements:
- Changes will be posted with updated "Last Updated" date
- Significant changes will be announced via email to registered users
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you disagree with changes, you must stop using webSlinger

- Users are solely responsible for their use of webSlinger
- webSlinger is not liable for damages caused by user actions
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also govern your use
